NOTICE INVITING TENDER
No.AGM(Mech.)/1/2008 dtd. 30.05.08
Sealed tenders are invited under two bid system
from reputed manufacturers / authorized agencies of Electronic Lorry
Weighbridge (LWB) having maintenance service facilities within the North
Eastern States for taking up urgent rectification job “ Replacement of all
steel structures like platform, girders etc on buy-back basis including
necessary civil works required for modification of the ramp and shifting of
the platform base as required and modification of the electronic equipments
if required with stamping and commissioning of 30 MT Electronic Lorry
Weighbridges of Schenck Jenson and Nicholson Make at FSD, Jowai , Meghalaya”
on Turn Key Basis and its continuous maintenance thereafter.
Tender documents (non-transferable) containing terms
and conditions can be obtained from the Asstt. General Manager (Mechanical)
at this office address on payment of Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only ) per
set (non-refundable) by B.C./Pay Order/D.D. only drawn in favour of Food
Corporation of India payable at Guwahati during office hours on production
of latest valid Sales Tax/works contract clearance certificate from the
sales tax authorities of the state as applicable and Licence for
installation, commissioning and maintenance of Electronic Lorry Weighbridge
issued by concerned State Authority. Application for tender documents duly
accompanied by the above mentioned credentials along with sufficient
documentary evidence of past experience of similar works will be received in
this office up-to 09.06.08 only and tender documents will be issued up-to
11.06.08.
Tender shall be accompanied by Earnest Money amounting
to Rs.18,500/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred only ) in the form of
B.C./Pay Order/D.D. only drawn in favour of Food Corporation of India
payable at Guwahati. Tenders not accompanied by E.M. shall be summarily
rejected. Completed tender will be received by the DGM(E/M) of this office
up-to 3 p.m. on 13.06.08 and will be opened on the same day at 3-30 p.m. in
presence of the intending tenderers or their authorized representatives.
The Food Corporation of India reserves the right to
accept any tender or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
whatsoever. Time allowed for completion of the work will be 45 ( fortyfive )
days.
