NOTICE INVITING TENDERS NO. 02 OF 2008-09
Sealed percentage rate tenders are invited on
behalf of the Food Corporation of India for the following works from the
approved building Contractors registered in the appropriate class with the
CPWD, State PWDs, M.E.S, Railway, P&T and other public sector undertaking of
the Central Government and State Government who have satisfactorily
completed during the past five years at least 3 (three) works of Rs.1.00
Lakh each in any organisation listed in this NIT for registration. The
intending tenders are also required to submit Bank solvency certificate from
any Nationalized Bank for Rs. 1.00 Lakhs. Validity of Bank Solvency will
count for one year from the date of issue of the certificate.

Tender documents (non-transferable) may be
obtained from the Office of the Asstt.General Manager (CE), Food Corporation
of India, Regional Office, Dimapur upto 2.00 P.M on 09-07-2008 on payment of
a sum of Rs. 500 /- (Rupees five hundred) only in cash (non-refundable) on
production of full particulars of works executed by them, duly supported by
sufficient documentary evidence, Bank Solvency Certificate, Valid Income Tax
Clearance/ PAN card and Registration Certificate etc, in original. Earnest
Money in the form of Demand Drafts or Banker Cheque of Scheduled Banks in
favour of the Food Corporation of India, Regional office, Dimapur payable at
Dimapur, must accompany each tender. Tenders not accompanied by Earnest
Money in the prescribed form shall be summarily rejected.
Completed tenders will be received at Office of Asstt.General Manager (CE),
Food Corporation of India, Regional Office, Dimapur upto 1.00 P.M on
11-07-2008 and will open on the same day at 2.00 p.m. in the presence of
tenderers or their Authorised representatives.
