NOTICE INVITING TENDER NO.4 OF 2008-09

     Sealed percentage rate tenders are invited on behalf of the Food Corporation of India for the following works from the approved building Contractors registered in the appropriate class with the CPWD, State PWDs, M.E.S., Railway, P&T and other Public Sector undertaking of the Central Government, and State Government, who have satisfactorily completed during the past five years at least 3(three) works of Rs.1.00 lakh each for Sl.No.1 to 4 in any of the organizations listed in this NIT for Registration. The intending Tenderers are also required to submit latest Bank Solvency Certificate from any Nationalized Bank of Rs.3.00 lakhs for Sl. 1to 4 and Rs.1.00 lakh for the others. (Validity of Bank Solvency is one year).

Tender documents (Non-transferable) can be obtained from the Office of the A.G.M.(CE), FCI, Regional Office, Shillong between 11:00 am to 1:00 P.M. upto 12.11.2008 on payment of a sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred) only in cash for Sl.1 to 6 and Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty only) for Sl.7&8, on production of full particulars of works executed by them, duly supported by sufficient documentary evidence, Latest /PAN Card and Registration Certificate etc., in original. Earnest Money in the form of Demand Drafts/Pay Order of Nationalised Bank in favour of The General Manager, Food Corporation of India, Regional Office, Shillong, payable at Shillong, must accompany each tender. Tenders not accompanied by Earnest Money in the prescribed form liable to be rejected.

Completed tenders will be received by the A.G.M.(CE), FCI, R.O., Shillong upto 2:00 P.M. on 15.11.2008 and will open on the same day at 2:30 P.M. in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives.
