PRESS NOTICE

NOTICE INVITING TENDER No. 7 OF 2008-09.

     Sealed tenders are invited under Two Bid System on behalf of Food Corporation of India, for rendering the Architectural cum Design Consultancy Services from the Government Registered/Licensed Architect Cum Design Consultants who have proven & sufficient experience in the field of Multi Storey RCC framed structure building & rendered consultancy service for the Govt. Offices, commercial building complexes and executed at least three works of similar type/nature & magnitude each costing Rs.8.00 Crores or more in past five years for Construction of Two storey RCC framed structure for Regional Office & District Office Building including Boundary wall and security Barrack at Mawroh (Shillong) on a plot measuring approx. 15000 sqm.

     Tender documents (Non transferable) can be had from the office of the A.G.M.(CE), FCI, R.O. Shillong during office hours upto 4.00p.m. on any working days upto 02.04.2009 on payment of the sum of Rs.1,500/- + S.T. only in cash (Non refundable) on production of attested testimonials / particulars from the bonafide clients in proof / documentary evidence of having rendered consultancy services satisfactorily as per the details above to the Central/State Govt. Offices or their undertaking and with reputed private Organization, valid registration/license with/from the concerned statutory authorities & valid Income Tax/PAN card issued by the Income Tax authority, proprietorship / Partnership deed duly registered. The tenders under two bid system should be placed in separate covers i.e. 1. Technical Bid & 2. Price Bid.

     Tenders alongwith Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 39,100.00 (Rupees thirty nine thousand one hundred only).
In the form of Demand Draft of Scheduled/Nationalized Bank in favour of FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, PAYABLE AT SHILLONG, should be placed in sealed cover in to the envelope of Technical Bid. Completed tenders containing two sealed covers super scribed as Technical bid & Price bid placed in another big envelope duly sealed & superscribed with name of work will be received in the Office of the A.G.M.(CE), FCI, R.O.Shillong upto 3.00p.m. on 06.04.2009. Technical bid will be opened first on the same day at 3.30p.m. in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives. The price bid of only such tenderers whose technical bid are found technically eligible by the technical committee will be opened on the date & time fixed by FCI which will be intimated to the parties separately in due course. Tenders not accompanied by EMD along with Technical bid in proper form shall be summarily rejected. FCI reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all the tenders or split the work between more than one tenderer without assigning any reason whatsoever.
